Nantwich Police have issued warnings to residents in rural areas between Nantwich and Audlem
It comes after a break in of an outbuilding off Coole Lane when a number of valuable items of equestrian kit was stolen.
Officers also received reports of a small white van with two men inside acting suspiciously in the Burleydam area.
It’s not known if this is related to the theft.
PC Sarah Marson, Nantwich Beat Management, said: “Be vigilant, double check and make sure everything is locked and secure.”
