Business entrepreneurs in Nantwich can compete for a £5,000 cash prize in the latest Dabbers Den competition.
Organisers are on the look out for new business ideas that could wow the Dabbers Den judges.
Anyone trading in Cheshire East and has been in business for less than three years you could be in with the chance of winning the top £5,000 prize.
The competition is organised by Howard Worth Chartered Accountants, Poole Alcock Solicitors, NatWest Bank and Cheshire East Council with the aim of supporting and encouraging entrepreneurs and to recognise new business creation.
Mike Doherty, Partner at Howard Worth, said: “When we first discussed the idea of creating the competition, we wanted to help start-up businesses or entrepreneurs who might, otherwise go un-aided when it came to financial support and investment.
“What we have seen over the last five years is that there are some brilliant new businesses starting up in the area and some knowledgeable and commercially minded individuals who are bringing unique ideas into the Dabbers Den.
“We are delighted that previous winners have been successful in taking their businesses to the next level and look forward to reviewing the applications for this year’s competition.”
The judges will be inviting shortlisted entrants into the Dabbers’ Den in November, where they will be holding panel interviews to determine the worthy winner.
Entry to the business competition opened on July 1 with the deadline for submissions October 20.
The winner will receive £5,000 cash as well as expert accountancy, legal and financial mentoring from the judges organisations.
If your business is based in Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Middlewich or Tarporley and began trading following 1st January 2014 then you are eligible to enter.
