The times of the overnight closure of A500 in South Cheshire between A531/B5472 Meremoor Moss roundabout and M6 Junction 16 have been updated.
Overnight road closures are now in place from 7.30pm – 5:30am, seven days-a-week, until Saturday November 30.
If additional surveys are needed, the road will continue to be closed from 9.30pm-5.30am seven days-a-week, from Sunday December 1 until Friday December 13.
The closures are in place to enable Cheshire East Council’s contractors, Balfour Beatty to conduct surveys in the area, which will inform the detailed design stage of the A500 dualling project.
The surveys include ground investigations, drainage, topographical and environmental surveys.
The design team is working with local landowners to minimise disruption.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead for their journey during this closure.
