A man is fighting for his life after the horror crash on the A51 Nantwich Bypass last week.
The 37-year-old local man was driving a Mini which was in collision with a BMW on the road between Cheerbrook roundabout (A500) and Peacock roundabout (A534).
Police are appealing for witnesses and any dashcam footage of the incident as they investigate what happened at around 1.15pm on Thursday December 19.
A red BMW Mini Cooper was involved in a collision with a white BMW.
The 37-year-old Mini driver suffered “live changing injuries” as a result of the collision.
He is currently in a critical condition in hospital.
The driver of the BMW, a 50-year-old local woman, suffered a number of injuries.
PC James Shrimpton, from Cheshire Roads Policing Unit, said: “Enquiries in relation to this collision are ongoing and we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which may aid our investigation.
“The A51 is a busy road and I believe that at the time of the incident there could have been a number people in the area, who may have seen what happened and I’d urge them to get in touch.
“The same goes for anyone who was driving in the area and believes they have any dashcam footage which may be relevant to the investigation.”
