A 60-hour broadcast by Nantwich and Crewe online station Redshift Radio has helped raise £850 for a new MRI Scanner.
Redshift hosted the monster broadcast in May to boost the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity MRI Scanner appeal and Head Injured People (HIP) in Cheshire.
Crewe & Nantwich-based RedShift Radio is launching a monster 60-hour broadcast to raise money for the MRI scanner appeal.
The broadcast will take place from 10am today (May 22) to 10pm on Sunday May 24.
Media students from Crewe and Nantwich have taken to the microphone to launch their own regular show on The Cat Community Radio.
The Crewe and Nantwich station, based at South Cheshire College, has given students a chance to host a show and gain valuable broadcast experience.
Staff at a Crewe & Nantwich radio station are backing St Luke’s Hospice Midnight Walk – with a non-stop 60 hour broadcast! Redshift Radio’s online broadcast, from 10am today (June 27), marks the 10th anniversary of the Midnight Walk, which takes place on Saturday night (June 28).
