Plans for up to 275 new homes on fields in Nantwich have moved a step closer.
Seddon Homes wants to build the properties on land to the east of Broad Lane at Stapeley.

As a lifelong Wistaston resident, I am writing with utter disgust and deep concern at the news that Redrow Homes are preparing to build around 190 houses on 12.6 acres of our open fields and grassland off Crewe Road.
Villagers were left shocked today when they saw their local community pub closed down and boarded up without notice.
The Lamb pub on Wistaston Road in Willaston had its front windows boarded up by workmen, leaving the village short of another vital community asset.

Redrow Homes is eyeing plans to build 220 houses on a 12.6 hectare site off Crewe Road in Wistaston.
The current site comprises open fields and grassland.
Bosses at Reaseheath College have been forced to cancel their annual Family Festival next month.
The event, which attracts thousands to the campus in Nantwich each year, was due to take place on Sunday May 12.
