Nantwich Town have signed former Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Ben Garratt on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old spent many years spent at Gresty Road where he came through the academy and went on to make 246 appearances for the first team.
Nantwich Town have signed defender Courtney Meppen-Walters on a one-month loan from NPL Premier side Guiseley.
The signing comes as the club has bid farewell to a number of key players recently, the latest being Ahmed Ali.
Nantwich Town allowed Guiseley to come from behind to complete a league double over the Dabbers in a performance head coach Gary Taylor-Fletcher labelled “embarrassing”.
Lewis Whitham had a sniff of a chance in the very first minute for Guiseley, doing the first of many cut insides from the left and curling over the bar.

Nantwich Town succumbed to a late sucker punch as Guiseley claimed a 1-0 win on Saturday at the Swansway Stadium.
The starting line-up saw manager Dave Cooke make two changes to the team that started the previous two matches.
