Jackdaw shot in windpipe treated by RSPCA Stapeley Grange

RSPCA staff in Nantwich have hit out at “deliberate cruelty” after treating a jackdaw which had been shot in the windpipe.

Vets at Stapeley Grange on London Road tried to save the life of a jackdaw which was rescued by the RSPCA.

RSPCA vets in Nantwich dealt with one of their most “incredible cases” when a young jackdaw pecked off more than it could chew.

The bird had swallowed a pair of tweezers and was rushed to RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre on London Road.
