Hundreds of commuters were delayed after a lorry got stuck on the A500 between Nantwich and the M6. Cheshire Police had to close the main trunk road in both directions during the incident at 5.30am (November 10).
A lorry which jack-knifed across both carriageways of the M6 in Cheshire, crashing into several cars, caused traffic chaos for thousands of motorists today. Five cars were caught up in the accident between junctions 21 and 21A which led to closures on the M62 westbound to the M6 southbound, on the M62 eastbound to the M6 southbound, and the M6 at Croft Interchange.
