A Nantwich school had the kettle on all morning to help raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support. Sound and District Primary PTA invited parents and visitors to a coffee morning where mums and Year 6 helpers served cuppas and cakes.
Nantwich folk are invited for a cuppa and a cake at Leighton Hospital to raise money for the national Macmillan Cancer appeal. The Macmillan team at Leighton are taking part the annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event on Friday September 28 at 11am.
Fund-raising feats at Richmond Village Nantwich have earned more than £4,000 for charity. Parkinson’s UK, Hope House, Cystic Fibrosis and Macmillan Cancer have all benefited from events held at the Village in 2011.
