Year 7 students from Brine Leas School have created a poppy field after spending an activity week in Menai, Anglesey.

Pupils carried out research on the history of World War participants from their own families before the trip.

Youngsters at a Nantwich high school have created their own “poppy field” as part of Remembrance Day celebrations.

The year 7 students from Brine Leas Academy created the field during a residential stay at the Menai Centre, in Wales.

A family support group in Nantwich is raising thousands of pounds to take children and their parents or carers on a residential. Chatterbox, based at Malbank School, is already halfway to its target to fund the special weekend to Menai in the summer.
