A Nantwich primary school is celebrating one of the highest accolades it can achieve for arts provision. Pear Tree School in Stapeley has been awarded Artsmark Gold status by the Arts Council of England.

Nantwich youngsters can “parlez en Francais” at a new series of French lessons at Playworld in Shavington. The lessons, run by La Jolie Ronde, aim to give pre-school children their first taste of learning a language through fun and games.
