Pubs and social clubs in Nantwich and Crewe are being urged to turn questions into cash with the St Luke’s Pub Quiz.
The hospice’s newest fundraiser aims to bring together communities for a fun night at their local while raising vital funds for patient care at St Luke’s.
Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Steve Phillips said he was stunned at how much a Nantwich pub quiz helped to raise. The Peacock, in Willaston, staged the quiz which saw many of Crewe’s Wembley heroes auctioned off.
A pub in Nantwich has been helping to launch a new helicopter transfer service for seriously ill children. The Horse Shoe Inn, in Willaston, held a quiz night that raised £120 for The Children’s Air Ambulance.
