Chancellor George Osborne gave Nantwich’s Reaseheath College a big pat on the back – after visiting its dairy parlour. Mr Osborne praised Reaseheath for its efforts to help food producers meet the challenge of world population growth and climate change.
Trainee vehicle technicians from Nantwich saw engineering perfection during a visit to exclusive car manufacturer Bentley. Thirty students from Reaseheath College watched the production of two of the most prestigious cars in the world – the Bentley Continental GT and the Bentley Mulsanne.
Pupils from Malbank School in Nantwich learned about food production and farming during a visit to Reaseheath College. Year 7 pupils studying climate change, food poverty and sustainable communities, looked at Reaseheath’s farm and glasshouses.
Horsemanship skills taught by a Nantwich college went under the spotlight in a BBC Countryfile programme today (January 20). Presenter Adam Henson, guest of honour at Reaseheath College’s graduation last term, delivered four of his rare breed Exmoor foals to the college’s Equestrian Centre.
