Chairman of Nantwich disabled charity retires after 24 years

Community stalwart Geoff Parsons MBE is to retire as chairman of the board of trustees for The Wingate Special Children’s Trust at the end of the year.

Geoff has been involved with the charity since 1998 when he joined as a trustee, shortly afterward being appointed chairman of the charity.

Cheshire Constabulary Chief Constable Darren Martland is to retire in spring 2021, it has been announced.

Police and Crime Commissioner David Keane today praised his dedication to policing in Cheshire and for more than three decades of service as a police officer.
