A fund-raising tennis tournament took place at Wistaston Jubilee Tennis Club on Church Lane to raise money for Sport Relief.
In previous years club members have held a tennis tournament and a 12-hour ‘Tennisathon’, raising hundreds of pounds in the process.

Wistaston teenager George Raiswell helped to raise vital Sport Relief funds after organising a tennis contest at his local club.
George, a member of Wistaston Jubilee Tennis Club on Church Lane, staged a round-robin format doubles tennis event and a fund-raising raffle for UK charity.

Nantwich residents are being urged to join in this year’s Sport Relief campaign. The charity looks to raise money for Comic Relief via sporting challenges, including the popular Sport Relief Mile.
