Leighton Hospital’s trust has been rated as “good” in the latest Care Quality Commission findings.
The report on Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) was compiled after an inspection by the CQC in October 2014.
Patients visiting Leighton Hospital will be using a new main entrance.
Major refurbishment works have been completed on the former entrance canopy replaced by a glass-fronted façade, which now includes an 80-seater Café Express for patients, visitors and staff.
South Cheshire NHS staff and volunteers attended an awards evening by Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT). The event recognised achievements of individuals and teams across MCHFT, which runs Leighton Hospital.
