A charity Christmas tree shredding in Nantwich has helped to raise almost £70 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The event took place at St Anne’s Roman Catholic Church car park, on Wellington Road, Nantwich, on Saturday January 7.
Nantwich drivers are being warned of delays as work continues on the town’s Wellington Road level crossing. The A530 main road in and out of town by Nantwich station is closed all weekend to allow rail engineers to complete the work.
The Rotary Club of Nantwich Christmas fund-raising float will be out and about bringing joy to youngsters next week. Santa will be visiting Nantwich streets, supermarkets and the town square throughout December, raising money for local charities.
