A Nantwich mum has launched a new tanning business so she can run it with her special needs daughter.
Suzanne Woolley, who lives with fiancé Gordon, has welcomed daughter Sally-Anne into her new “Tanz-on-the-run” company.
The business delivers a mobile spray-tanning service to people’s homes in Nantwich, Crewe and surrounding areas.
Mum-of-two Suzanne decided to set-up the enterprise after realising the full-extent of the health risks associated with sunbeds.
The 43-year-old, who has lived in Nantwich all her life, said: “I have always been a sun worshipper and whenever I could, would sunbathe or pay a visit to the sunbed.
“Both we now know are potential killers, but a price some of us pay for our vanity. This motivated me to set up my own business.”
Suzanne, now a fully-credited spray tan therapist, had already worked in retail but gave it up to become a full-time mum and carer for her daughter.
“My reason for doing this, besides it being my dream to have my own business, is that now my daughter has finished college she will also be able to assist me,” she added.
“It’s great for both of us, as she is unable to cope with the everyday demands of a ‘normal job’.”
“Tanz-on-the-run” provides a tanning service for various occasions, such as prom nights, nights out, hen parties and weddings. It also offers spray tan parties.
