TV vet Steve Leonard will be in town to stage a one-off talk in aid of a local Scout group.

The BBC presenter will discuss the ups and downs of teaching students while working with South Africa’s most dangerous wildlife.

The host of TV shows “Orangutan Diaries” and “Vets in Practice” will also highlight his work on the broadcaster’s new “Safari Vet School” programme.

Tickets are on sale from the Leonard Brothers practices in Wistaston and Whitchurch.

Adults £5, under 16s £2.50 and under 3s are free.

All proceeds will go to 35th South West Cheshire Scout Group’s “new hut fund”.

The talk will be at St Mary’s Church Hall in Wistaston on Tuesday August 21, 7.30pm for 8pm start.
