Gateway Crewe dress up for Children in Need

Staff at a South Cheshire car dealership dressed up as their favourite film heroes for the day to help raise £2,000 for charity.

Employees at the area’s local Peugeot dealership Gateway, in Crewe, performed the stunt for Children in Need.

And the money raised was added to their fund total for the charity of over £2,000.

Workers kitted themselves out in fancy dress and urged customers to dig deep and donate to the worthy cause, raising an extra £150.

Staff also sold official Children in Need merchandise, awhile sales executive Matt Taylor completed the Tatton Park half marathon and sales manager Alex Walker competed in a white collar boxing match.

Alex said: “The telethon day activity was hugely successful for us and the fact we raised so much money for such a good cause is testament to the team’s hard work and dedication.

“I’d like to thank our loyal customers who visited the dealership to support the team and donated generously to Children in Need.”

For more information and to make a donation to Children in Need contact Gateway on 01270 587711 or visit the dealership.
