A Youth Market showcasing the best young business people in South Cheshire is being held at Minshull’s Garden Centre.

The event aims to promote those aged between 14-30 with a craft or business idea and provide a place they can sell their goods.

It’s the latest in a series of markets which have proved a big success in the past, according to organiser Steve Minshull.

Among tomorrow’s traders are Aimee Sarson, 28, and Keira Capper, also 28.

Aimee came up with her “Nails by Aimee” business while visiting a local beauty salon to have my own nails done.

“The therapist was lovely, but I decided I could do my nails myself and I really enjoyed having that time to myself,” she said.

“When I found out I was pregnant, I decided to use my maternity leave attending some nail courses.

“The more I did, the more passionate I grew about it. Now, I am specialising in Nail Art.”

Kiera founded her “The Chocolate Angel” business afte reading a book called Chocolate Wishes.

“I have always enjoyed making chocolate and crafting new ideas to watch them take shape, but I never imagined I could turn my passion into my living.

“In reading this book I was given an image of what making and selling your own creations can be like and how rewarding it can be.

“From then on I was set upon the idea of sharing the hundreds of ideas I had floating around in my mind, with all of the potential customers in my local area.”

The market takes place tomorrow (Saturday February 23) from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free.
