Showtime - Crewe Lyceum Theatre, to stage a wedding fayre, and summer events

‘A Murder is Announced’ by Agatha Christie is the latest ‘whodunit’ to hit the stage at The Lyceum in Crewe.

It’s a classic murder mystery which all Miss Marple fans will enjoy.

Full of twists and turns, this Ian Dickens Production leaves the audience guessing until the very last scene.

The joy of watching an Ian Dickens Production always lies in clever casting and great acting. Katy Manning was wonderful as ‘ Aunt Lettie’.

John D Collins was cast as the ‘Inspector’, and completely stole the show in his first scene, and Geraldine Newman didn’t disappoint giving a classic performance as ‘Miss Marple’.

Former soap stars Dean Gaffney as ‘Patrick’ and Gemma Bissix as ‘Julia’ both gave strong performances, helping to build tension and intrigue into the production.

If you’re an Agatha Christie fan and enjoy puzzles and a bit of mystery be sure to catch ‘A Murder is Announced’ at The Lyceum this week.

The show is running every night at 7.30pm from tonight March 6 until Saturday March 9.
