A Crewe & Nantwich car dealer has launched a new apprentice scheme to expand its team.

Family business Gateway Peugeot is on the hunt for a new apprentice to work in the sales department, with the potential to become a permanent employee.

Bosses at the Crewe-based dealership say the successful applicant will benefit from a training and development programme.

The company has a track record in bringing in new apprentices who have moved on to success in their career.

Tony Broadhurst, 20, from Crewe has worked in the parts department at the dealership for over two years.

Amy Bosson, 19, from Sandbach, has been a member of Gateway’s accounts team for the last year.

Apprentice Daryll Goode, 22, from Alsager, also joined Gateway as a trainee administrator in March.

Alex Walker, general manager at Gateway, said: “Becoming an apprentice is a great stepping stone into the working world and at a time when youth unemployment is at an all-time high, we are proud to be able to offer enthusiastic under 25s the chance to come and work for Gateway Peugeot.

“Tony, Amy and Daryll are fantastic employees and a pleasure to work with. We would love to hear from other aspiring candidates who would like to follow in their footsteps and become a member of the Gateway Peugeot team.”
