Nantwich folk who love to eat out in their home town are being urged to nominate their favourite places.

It’s the third year of the Nantwich Dining Out Awards, launched to coincide with the town’s successful Food and Drink Festival.

Organisers believe the competition helps to encourage and support local hospitality businesses including cafes, pubs, restaurants and hotels.

The competition relies on people nominating their favourite restaurant, hotel restaurant, cafe or pub with food.

Organisers of the festival will count up the votes and the one with the most votes wins the coveted award.

Prizes include a magnum of champagne (donated by Rodney Densems) and an invitation to an awards evening in Rookery Hall, Nantwich, to receive their trophy.

Full details are on www.nantwichfoodfestival.co.uk/competitions.

Closing date for nominations is midnight on October 14, 2013.
