There was nothing faulty with the latest production from the Nantwich-based upSTAGE Theatre School.

The audience were treated to a wonderful stage production of ‘Fawlty Towers’, complete with all the characters, situations and laughter which we associate with the well known TV series.

Once again, upSTAGE Theatre School have delivered a well produced show, with a great set and a cast who work fantastically well together.

Just one look and a raised eyebrow from Harry Johnson who played “Basil”, with such wonderful comic timing was enough to make the audience fall into fits of laughter.

Cast opposite as “Sybil” was Michaela Warrilow, who gave a great performance as the long suffering, but bossy wife.

If you’re lucky enough to be booked into “Fawlty Towers” at Malbank and already have a ticket, look out for the brilliant Sophora Cliff who was simply superb as ‘”Mrs Richards”.

You’d better be quick though.

‘Fawlty Towers’ was performed at Malbank Performing Arts College.
