Thousands of people are expected to descend on the Nantwich Spooktacular – one of the largest themed Halloween events in the region.

Organisers of the night are laying on a range of activities during the event at Dorfold Park on Saturday October 26.

The Spooktacular, which has run for four years, is backed by Nantwich Show organisers and Nantwich Agricultural Society.

This year’s show will have over 3000 fireworks that will light up the sky above Nantwich in Cheshire.

As well as the giant bonfire, there will be a massive fireworks display by Blitz Fireworks.

There will also be the usual funfair and children’s rides, a fancy dress competition, and Punch and Judy show, a licenced bar, food outlets, Twizzle Gumboot the friendly scarecrow, and music from The Shaun Simons Roadshow.

Tickets are now on sale, available from Blitz fireworks 26 Hightown, Crewe, Nantwich Tourist Information office at Civic Hall, and The Waterside Café at Nantwich Marina.

Ticket sellers will also be on Nantwich Town Square on October 12, 19 and 26 from 10am until 3pm.

Advance tickets are £5 children, £7 adults. On the gate, it is £7 children, £9 adults.
