A fund-raising coffee morning will take place at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich to help raise funds for Leukaemia research.

The event will be held from 9am to midday on Saturday November 23 at the Nantwich Parish Rooms.

Entrance is 70p and includes tea/coffee/squash and biscuits.

There will also be a cake stall and a pound stall.

All proceeds will go to the South Cheshire Branch of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research

Other recent fund-raising events by the group included a Nantwich Town Collection on October 5 that raised £412.60 and a collection at Morrisons in Nantwich on October 10 that raised £246.82.

Shoppers at Cheerbrook Farm Shop also raised £175 through a ‘Bones for Dogs’ scheme.

Chairman Liz Boffey said: “We are indebted to the people of Nantwich who are so generous with their giving and we really appreciate their kindness.

“We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Morrisons and Cheerbrook Farm Shop for all their support to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.”
