A new group called “Cheshire Walking” is to stage its first walk around Nantwich this week.
The club met for the first time at The Vine pub in Hospital Street, Nantwich, with a good turnout.
The group hopes to cater for all fitness levels and a “starter walk” will be held on Saturday December 7 at 10.30am.
Those interested should meet up in Nantwich town square.
The walk is circular, about five miles long, and across fields, minor roads and canal towpaths.
The route may be muddy so good boots a necessity.
The group has a Facebook page entitled Cheshire Walking with more details.
