Young swimmers from Nantwich Seals have excelled again in two competitions in North Wales.

Ten swimmers competed for the club at the Wrexham Cath Ankers meet 2014, and secured 26 personal bests from 31 events entered.

Max Austin, Ellie Frampton, Ellie Edwards, Scarlett Lacy, Katie Woodbridge, Floss Shenton, Poppi Dickens, Cameron Thomson, Izzy Morrey and Tom Hales (pictured above) all took part.

They enjoyed one 1st place, five second place finishes, and 10 third places.

Club spokesomwan Kate Frampton said: “The club can’t be any more proud than what we already are.

“It was a fantastic day’s racing and thanks to Nigel and Stuart for poolside help.”

In May, the Seals competed at the Llandudno Whitsun Meet with nine swimmers making the 72 mile trip.

Becky Emeny, Becky Moston, Izzy Morrey, Cameron Thomson, Mattie Currie, Floss Shenton, Katie Woodbridge, Harvey Zwijnen and Lizzie Oliver  (pictured below) all competed against swimmers from North Wales and teams from the North West.

“In 63 races they swam ink they returned 49 personal bests!” added Kate.

“A huge thanks to Debbie and Nigel for making it easy for your coach.”
