Dabbers' Den 2015 judges

Entrepreneurs in Nantwich will be entering the Dabbers’ Den again as the business competition returns for a fourth year.

And this time it is bigger than ever, with the best new business or business idea in line to win a  top prize worth a whopping £10,000.

As well as the winning prize, there are also rewards for second and third place.

The competition is open to all businesses or entrepreneurs in Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Congleton or Alsager which was established after June 1 2014.

Nantwich accountants Howard Worth and Poole Alcock Solicitors have again joined forces with NatWest, Cheshire East Council and Residence Restaurant and Bar in Nantwich to organise the contest.

The winning business will receive one year’s free business advice and support from Howard Worth and legal mentoring from Poole Alcock in addition to a £5,000 cash prize.

Second place will receive six months’ support and mentoring and third place three months.

If you have an innovative business idea or own a business that has been operating for less than a year, apply now for your chance to be this year’s Dabbers’ Den competition.

The panel of judges (pictured, above) include Scott Harding of Poole Alcock, Mike Doherty of Howard Worth, Natalie Taylor from NatWest, Cllr Peter Groves from Cheshire East Council, and Ben Rafferty of Residence restaurant & bar.

The judges will be inviting successful entrants into the Dabbers’ Den in November, where they will be holding panel interviews to determine the winner of the 2015 competition.

In 2013, Wybunbury-based KidzKitchen run by Tracey Cooke were the winners, and last year Sandbach-based AthElite came out on top.
