Matty Kosylo, Nantwich Town

Nantwich Town were involved in another high-scoring game as they battled to a 3-3 draw away at Whitby Town.

Phil Parkinson’s men had trailed 2-1, but then led 3-2 in the final 10 minutes before the hosts levelled.

Whitby took the lad on nine minutes when they beat the offside trap and Roberts fired home past Veiga in the Dabbers goal.

But Nantwich equalised just two minutes later when Matty Kosylo (pictured) burst clear and pulled it back for Lewis Short to score.

Kosylo was a constant menace for the Whitby defence as both sides attacked with gusto in the first half.

But Whitby took the upperhand when Nantwich were reduced to 10 men, Jonathan Moran seeing red.

And the hosts took a 2-1 half-time lead when Waters fired in an unstoppable shot from 30 yards into the top corner.

After the break, Nantwich defended stoutly as Whitby looked to press home their man advantage, Veiga performing well in the Dabbers goal.

And Nantwich were rewarded when they levelled on 69 minutes through Sam Hall after good work by Liam Shotton.

And just six minutes later, Nantwich unbelievably took the lead when Kosylo pounced on a defensive error and rounded the keeper to make it 3-2.

The shell-shocked home side applied pressure for the remaining 15 minutes, and just when it looked like Nantwich would hold out Whitby snatched a dramatic 90th minute leveller.

The Nantwich defence failed to clear a cross into the box, and Gill managed to stab the ball home in the confusion.
