“It was my first time being part of the North West team and I enjoyed every second of being there.

“I’ve been riding since I was young and I’ve been doing dressage for about seven years now and I absolutely love it.

“I’ve taken part in a number of competitions but this was the biggest yet. I’m hoping to enter many more national competitions now in the future.”

Hannah developed her riding skills at Nantwich Riding Club and is a member of the British Young Riders Dressage Scheme.

She trains each week under the guidance of her personal trainer, Sarah Probin.

She returned from Sheepgate with rosettes which will now take pride of place at home.

Hannah added: “I’d like to say a big thanks to my family who supported me and to Sarah Probin and the horse owner Susan Blackshaw.

“Without their support I wouldn’t have made this much progress.”
