Children in Need, South Cheshire College

Staff and Students at South Cheshire College are preparing to raise funds for BBC Children in Need 2015 Appeal.

The college’s charity committee has arranged a variety of activities to engage people in the national event on Friday November 13.

Student Council members will be arriving in fancy dress for the ‘Be A Hero’ theme, ready for bucket collections throughout the campus.

Pudsey cake sales, bric-a-brac and book stalls are all being held in the main crescent area of the campus in  Crewe.

Students from different college courses will also be staging their own fundraising activities in their areas.

John Leese, Student Council co-ordinator, said: “The college community always looks forward to BBC Children in Need as a way of raising money for such a good cause.

“There will be lots of activities going on throughout the day as well as staff and students wearing fancy dress – it’s all about raising money and having fun!”

South Cheshire College supports a number of fundraising activities throughout the year and the Student Council is actively involved in organising them.
