Nantwich Crown Hotel - wedding fayre

The Crown Hotel in Nantwich is to open a new-look restaurant at its town centre premises.

The former Casa restaurant has been converted and is to relaunch as the Crown Bar and Grill.

Owner Philip Martin said the Casa, which has been a feature of the hotel for more than 25 years, needed to change to suit “changing tastes”.

“Local people are demanding local food cooked in a manner we are comfortable with yet, with an accent to the tastes and experiences gained on European holidays and perhaps further afield,” he said.

The restaurant area is undergoing a major restyling which will be followed through into the Crown Bar.

There will be an emphasis on building on the hotel’s 400-year history, its authentic beams and atmosphere.

A local company has been brought in to redesign the area with more than view to the historical past of the hotel and local area.

The new Bar and Grill menu will have a local flavour, products sourced from Cheshire and North Wales region.

New wines and a range of craft beers will feature in the Bar and Grill.

The menu will be offered in the both the Crown Bar and Crown Grill areas throughout the day.

Bookings can be made on 01270 625283/625439.
