The smash hit musical Blood Brothers returns to Cheshire with a number of Crewe Lyceum Theatre shows next month.

Lyn Paul makes a return to the iconic role Mrs Johnstone – one she first played in 1997.

She last performed it in the final West End performances at the Phoenix Theatre in 2012.

She has starred in the UK tour of Cabaret in 2013 as Fraulein Schneider, in Boy George’s musical Taboo and in Footloose – the Musical.

Also in Blood Brothers are Kris Harding (Narrator), Sean Jones (Mickey), Joel Benedict (Eddie), Danielle Corlass (Linda), Paula Tappenden (Mrs Lyons), Tim Churchill (Mr Lyons), Peter Washington (Sammy), Graham Martin, Laura Harrison, Lois Molloy, Graeme Kinniburgh, Henry Regan and Josh Capper.

“Blood Brothers return to the Crewe Lyceum is long-awaited by our audience following its sell-out appearance in 2013,” said Lyceum marketing manager Gemma Whalley

“This iconic musical is one that must be seen again and again, and we anticipate high demand.”

Blood Brothers is written by award-winning playwright Willy Russell and has triumphed across the globe.

It has scooped four awards for best musical in London and seven Tony Award nominations on Broadway.

Blood Brothers tells the moving story of twin boys separated at birth, only to be reunited by a twist of fate and a mother’s haunting secret.

It will play at Crewe Lyceum from Tuesday March 15 to Saturday March 19.

Tickets can be bought online at www.crewelyceum.co.uk or via the Box Office on 01270 368242.

Group offers, including limited tickets for schools studying the play as part of GSCE level subjects, are available.
