Barnardo's shop front

Volunteers are desperately needed to staff the Barnardo’s charity store in Nantwich.

Bosses need help in the store in Beechwood Close, Stapeley, to work the till, sort and prepare stock and help with window displays and pricing.

Store manager Alison Evans said: “Volunteers are the backbone of our shop and we couldn’t exist without them.

“We know that there are people out there with retail experience who might be between jobs, but want to keep their skills sharp.

“We really want to attract this group as well as our more traditional volunteer base of students and retired people.

“Volunteering is also a fantastic way to meet new people and add to your CV.

“We’re a very friendly team and look forward to meeting those who have an interest in joining us.”

The shop also needs donations of good quality items, including clothing and children’s toys.

All money raised in the shop is used to support vulnerable children, young people and their families across the North West.
