MRI scanner appeal Mid Cheshire Hospitals Trust

Local businesses have teamed up to host a night of fundraising in support of Mid Cheshire Hospitals MRI Scanner Appeal.

Your Move Andrew Nicholson has teamed up with Tesco Extra to organise the Maykadifference Event, which will help raise funds toward the £1 million target.

The event will bring the community together for a night of fun, laughter and fundraising, and will include a charity auction and bingo.

It will take place on Monday April 18 at 7pm at the Pioneer Anglers Club on Underwood Lane, Crewe.

There is just £150,000 left to raise for the appeal, and event organisers Andrea Vickers, from Your Move Andrew Nicholson, and Hayley Bicker from Tesco Extra, hope to unite the community.

Other businesses, including Crewe Lyceum, Pizza Hut, Nando’s Mornflake, Mimi’s Salon and Nin & Booth Hairdressing, have donated auction prizes and more have pledged support.

Event organisers are urging generous businesses to contact Andrea Vickers at [email protected] or on 01270 214204, if they can donate a prize.

Laura Riddle, charity manager at Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity, said: “It’s brilliant to see the local business community come together to help raise funds for a much-needed additional MRI Scanner.

“I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Your Move Andrew Nicholson and Tesco Extra for their incredible support.”

Andrea Vickers said: “The service the scanner provides is essential to the whole South Cheshire community.

“We’re passionate to support this life-saving appeal, so we want to bring our community together and raise lots of money toward the target.”

People wanting to attend the night can find details on the Maykadifference event page on the Your Move Andrew Nicholson Facebook page.
