Iconic Nantwich brand Mia Stanza is helping customers design their new sofas… from the comfort of their old ones!
An online “virtual simulator” now means shoppers can sit down and design exactly the sort of sofa they want in their living room.
Made by manufacturer Fama, the virtual simulator offers a unique first glimpse of a new sofa as designed by the customer.
And Mia Stanza has created a tutorial on how to use it so people can play with it at home.
Louise Appleby, director at Mia Stanza based on Beam Street, also demonstrates the simulator in store and believes it is bringing furniture buying into the digital age!
She said: “On our version in the shop, we can usually get much more detail for the customer.
“We can build up modules to get the right size, add in chairs, and then try different fabrics on each part of the furniture to the customer’s preference.
“We can even add the customer’s rug on the simulation to help them visualise the room!”
One customer designed his own furniture which he then shipped off to his villa in Portugal.
“He found us online, lives in Solihull and came to us to design and order it for their villa!” added Louise. “It looks incredible!”
The clever gizmo is helping revolutionise how customers shop for new home furnishings and is proving a big hit, says Louise.
Meanwhile, the independent company has also launched its Summer Sale, with everything reduced including items to order.
Some stock has been reduced heavily to clear for immediate delivery, with many at less than half price, and all lighting, pictures and mirrors are reduced and free local delivery.
All giftware currently has at least 10% off original price, and there are new models from Italy, Spain, France and UK now in store.
