Crewe Athletic had another good win beating Willaston White Star 6-1 to maintain their leadership in Crewe Sunday League Premier Division.

Star were level at half time, but a second half blitz of five goals gave the home team the points.

PJ Hudson and Jordan Amson both scored two with Ed Hilditch and Johnny Parkes also on target. Azi Haque scored for Willaston.

Fellow joint leaders Elworth Park Rangers had a comfortable 3-7 win at Talbot.

Elworth were 0-6 ahead at one time before a late flourish by Talbot gave the score more respectability.

Liam Whittaker, Brandon Broadhurst and Rob Capewell netted for Talbot with Lee Saxton (2), George Alcock (2), David Sirle, Brad Baynes and Matt Gibson scoring for the visitors.

White Lion Ford Lane had an exciting 3-2 win over Salvador.

Lion took a first minute lead, Salvador came back to lead 1-2 but Lion fought back to get a last-minute winner.

Danny Roberts scored twice with Ben Reddock on target for the late winner.

Kevin Sharp and Lee Mellor scored for Salvador.

Square One edged a closely contested game with NHB 2-1 and remain just behind the leaders with a game in hand.

Russell Schofield and Caine Mellor were the marksmen for Square One with Jamie Ball on target for NHB.

Faddiley pulled off the shock result of the day, gaining their first win since being promoted. They defeated joint leaders Wistaston Leopard 0-2, thanks to two own goals.

In the Staffs Challenge Cup, Betley beat Tunstall based Coach and Horses 4-1, thanks to goals from Lee Smith, Jamie Baker, Dean Twigg and Simon Roberts.

In Division One, George and Dragon won 0-11 at Sandbach Town.

Charlie Hatton scored five, Tim Drohan added two, Sean Tierney, James Cain, Ricky Macalease and Tom Buckley completed the scoring.

Lowly White Horse seemed set for a highly creditable draw against League leaders, The Ark, but a last-minute goal gave the visitors a 3-4 win.

Nick Gregory, Dan Jones and Adam Smithies scored for White Horse. Joe Pointon scored twice for The Ark, whose other goals came from subs Aaron Clark and Perry Bircumshaw.

AFC Wickstead have had some very erratic results but had an excellent win at second placed White Lion.

Despite turning up at Legends, Crewe, initially, they eventually found their way to Sandbach and won 0-3 with goals from Joe Ecclestone, Dan Croft and Liam Prince.

Audlem started the season brightly, but are fading somewhat, and a Kyle Stubbs goal was enough to defeat them at Brighton Belle.

Nantwich Pirates are becoming the draw specialists of Division One.

They fell 2-0 behind at Haslington but came back to end at 2-2.

Goals from James Hope and a Damien Sloan penalty gave Haslington the lead, but Mike Truan and Chris Lunn scored in reply.

Joint leaders Broadhurst and Sydney Arms finished level at 1-1.

Ryan Millington converted a penalty for the home team with veteran Vinnie Pownall on target for Sydney Arms.

Winsford Over 3 lost 4-2 to White Eagles.

Callum Nowell and Jamie Cain scoring for Winsford Over 3 with Lukasz Pasiuk 2, Michal Boryczewski and Konrad Lewandowski scoring for White Eagles.
