motorhome stolen in nantwich

A Nantwich family is appealing for help to trace their beloved motorhome which was stolen in Nantwich.

This vehicle was taken from the car park off Pratchitt’s Row next to Morrisons in Nantwich yesterday (June 2) between 9.50am and 2.30pm.

It was full of the owner Emma Pearson’s belongings. She has been driving around the area all night in the hope of tracking it down.

She said: “I understand it’s only a materialistic old microwave and wheels but I have a big attachment with this van – my little home on wheels. To us it was more than a van.”

The vehicle is a Talbot Elddis Autoquest 320 L262 1994 Registration is L262 HND but they may have put plates on it.

Distinguishing features include a crack at the bottom of the back brake light and a Britstop sticker on the back side door of the caravan.

Images and details have been shared thousands of times on social media in a bid to track it down.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “At 14.18 on Sunday 2 June officers were called to reports that a White Talbot Auto Quest 320 camper van had been stolen from an address on Pratchitt’s Row, Nantwich.

“Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 417851.”
