Everybody Awards run by Everybody Leisure

People have just five days to nominate residents in Crewe and Nantwich for the annual Everybody Awards.

The awards run by Everybody Leisure aim to honour those people who go the extra mile in working in the community.

Nominations for the Awards close this Sunday August 4.

If you know someone who has made a contribution to sport, health and wellbeing this year in Cheshire East, don’t miss your chance to nominate them.

This year, the awards evening will be hosted by the incredible Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, Paralympic athlete, DBE, and crossbench peer.

Tanni has had an incredible career, with 16 Paralympic medals to her name – 11 of which are gold – and 13 world championship medals.

Winners from last year included Ultra Runner Nicola Bruce, Coach of the Year Grace Dodd, South Cheshire Amateur Boxing Club, and Volunteers Kath and Mike Povall.

Awards will be given to inspirational people in the categories of:

* Sports Personality of the Year
* Health and Wellbeing Awards
* Club of the Year
* Coach of the Year
* Volunteer of the Year
* Young Volunteer of the Year
* Young Sports Achiever of the Year
