The Cat 107.9 FM is holding two charity fundraising performances at the Crewe Lyceum Theatre next month.

The Crewe and Nantwich community station will be staging Dance, Sing, Play supported by local artists and performers to raise money for two local charities on Saturday September 14.

The afternoon performance starts at 2pm, and is in aid of Elle’s Wishes – the campaign launched by courageous Nantwich girl Elle Morris who died after complications following a double lung transplant.

The show will include dancers and choirs from Crewe and Nantwich, including Gathered Voices Women’s Choir, TDA Glasheen, Matrix Cheer Squad, Via Dance, the Fraser School of Irish Dance, the MicWire choir and the Nightingales choir.

The Live Music evening starts at 7pm in aid of The Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity ‘Everybody Knows Somebody’ Dementia Appeal.

There will be a local band line up including Calum Wright, Oli Ng, Megan Lee, The Blue Yellows, Green Bullet and Bad Dukes & Beggers.

Tickets are now available from Crewe Lyceum Theatre box office and online.

Dancers & Choirs Afternoon Performance: Adults £11.50, Children £5, Family (2 adults & 2 children) £31.50.

Live Music Evening Performance: All tickets £16.50.

“And what better way to do this, while supporting two great local causes, than on stage in the splendour of this beautiful Edwardian theatre.”
