Dozens of scooter owners gathered in Nantwich for a get-together organised by Dabbers Scooter Club, writes Jonathan White.

The 12th annual Dabbers Scooter Club “Smell The 2 Stroke” took place at The Railway Hotel on Pillory Street in Nantwich.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic this year was a private event for members of the Scooter Club.

Some scooter owners arrived via a rideout from Crewe town centre.

The Railway Hotel was open for food and drink with an outdoor bar and there was background music.

Scooter manufacturers on show included Lambretta, Piaggio, Toxic and Vespa.

The event was enjoyed by all who attended, with the hope that next year’s meetup will be back to normal with live music, scooter-related merchandise stalls and scooter owners travelling from all over England and north Wales.

The Scooter Club meets at The Railway Hotel on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm.

All are welcome. For further information search Dabbers Scooter Club on Facebook or click https://www.facebook.com/groups/117320268298377/
