Nantwich Town - Fairfax Suite in Baker Wynne & Wilson Stand at Weaver Stadium

Nantwich Town have teamed up with League One neighbours Crewe Alexandra to support Marcus Rashford’s campaign and provide food parcels for families.

The Dabbers have opened up their Optimum Pay Stadium on Waterlode as a collection point for food parcels for any families struggling this half-term.

A club spokesman said: “The Alex and The Dabbers will showing their support for Marcus Rashford’s Pledge to ensure all children have access to a nutritious meal throughout half-term.

“Crewe Alexandra have been overwhelmed with the pledges they have received from ex-players and local business and have donated some to Nantwich Town FC.

“A club representative will be in the car-park of Nantwich Town’s stadium on Waterlode, Nantwich between 11am – midday for collection of food parcels.

“Collection of a food parcel will be completely anonymous and no contact details will be needed, just simply show up within the hour window.

“To adhere to government guidelines, please wear a mask on approach and adhere to current guidance on distancing.

“If you arrive by car, we are happy if you want to open your boot/rear door and we will place the parcel inside.

“NTFC would like to thank Crewe Alexandra and all their pledgees for their support in this matter.”
