A four-year-old boy is fighting for his life after a collision with a bus in Crewe, police said.
Officers are seeking witnesses after the accident which happened on West Street, close to the junction with Ford Lane.
Police described the young boy’s injuries as “life threatening” and he was airlifted to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
The accident happened shortly after 1pm on Monday (February 1).
The boy, who is from Crewe and was walking at the time of the accident, is currently described as in a “stable condition” in hospital.
The driver of the bus was uninjured during the incident.
Cheshire Police said: “Inquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or captured dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.”
