Applewood arena, nantwich town

Nantwich Town have received more backing from local businesses, with Applewood Independent sponsoring the club’s 3G Arena.

It will now become known as the “Applewood Arena” where first team players train and community and children’s football sessions are held.

Applewood managing director David Pritchard said: “We firmly believe in supporting the community that we live and work in.

“And we have a long-standing partnership with many of the local sports and community lead organisations.

“We are extremely proud to be in a position to be continuing our partnership with the club. Good luck and best wishes to the whole club and team this season.”

Applewood, an independent financial advisors, are among a number of Nantwich business who helped support the club through the challenges of the pandemic.

Lockdown and the curtailment of the last two seasons had impacted on the club’s position.

But ongoing sponsorship from local companies and fundraising efforts from fans and the public have helped the club emerge from Covid lockdowns.
