Nantwich Town have appointed Will Swindells as the club’s new Football Development Officer.
Swindells takes over from Lyndon Wain, who announced he would be stepping down this summer.
Swindells says he’ll be revamping the club’s community activities, ensuring there’s something for everyone this summer.
This summer, this includes enhanced sessions such as:

Holiday Camps,…plus after-school programmes in Bunbury, Acton and Pear Tree in Stapeley
Swindells has been involved in coaching across the club, particularly with girls’ football.
He is a recent MSc graduate in Football Business from UCFB, where he earned a Merit and the prestigious Dean’s Award.
His background also includes a BA in Sport Management from Coventry University, where he served as Athletics Club Captain and a long-standing Education Representative.
He also founded “OnSide: A Women’s Game Review” – a blog aimed at shining a light on stories in women’s football that often go untold.
He said: “I would like to take this time to thank everyone involved at Nantwich for having me as the Football Development Officer.
“We have so many fantastic community volunteers who make our football club such a fantastic place to work.
“Lyndon Wain installed the value of ‘football is for everyone’ at Nantwich Town FC and my aim to carry that philosophy on, reaching parts of our community we haven’t positively impacted before.”
