A gin making family in Wrenbury near Nantwich have scooped several awards just months after launching their new business.
13 Oaks Gin, a small family-run craft distillery based on a farm, was started seven months ago by Tristan Parker and Victoria Campbell.
And they have already won several awards for their tasty local products.
Honours were picked up at the World Gin Awards, Spirit Masters, and the Gin Guide Awards.
Tristan, 45, has been a fan of traditional gins for several years but felt none quite hit the spot.
So he set out to learn the craft and create a range of traditional gins which used only natural ingredients, with nothing added post distillation.
Victoria, 4o, said: “We are a family-run craft distillery creating a selection of premium quality small batch gins in our handmade British Still, our gins are bursting with natural flavours with love and attention to detail poured into every drop.

“Using a traditional one-shot distillation method preferred by craft distillers, our range of gins have clean bold flavours due to the finest range of carefully selected botanicals we use, many of which have been lovingly grown and handpicked from our lush herb and wildflower gardens.
“Our passion and commitment to years of meticulous research and development are testament to our distinctive flavour profiles ranging from sprightly fresh pink grapefruit to warming Spiced, our gins are memorable and loved by our loyal customers.
“Our gins have won a range of awards having only been trading for seven months. We are blown away by the response from judges!”
Their London Dry won a Masters at the Global Gin Masters Award, this we understand is not given to many as previously mentioned so a huge accolade for us.
It also won Gold at the World Gin Awards and Winner at the Gin Guide Awards.
Their Pink Citrus won Silver at the Global Gin Masters awards, Gold at World Gin Awards, and was Highly Commended at the Gin Guide Awards.
Their Spiced version won Silver at the Global Gin Masters awards, and was Winner at the Gin Guide Awards.
And their Summer Breeze bottle won Gold at the Global Gin Masters, and was Finalist at the Gin Guide Awards.
13 Oaks has also won “New Distillery of the Year” at the Gin Guide Awards.
Their use of a traditional one-shot distillation method accounts for only 2% of all gin produced in the world.
Selected botanicals are grown and handpicked from the farm’s herb and wildflower gardens.
