A man has been arrested in possession of a knife in the Acton area of Nantwich.
Police said Response Patrol Officers from Crewe were deployed to an incident in Acton last night (July 4th).
A spokesperson said: “On arrival they sighted a male acting suspiciously and he was detained for a stop search.
“Officers located a knife on the male during the search, and he was arrested for possessing a bladed article in a public place.
“The 19-year-old from Acton remains in Police custody.”
